Coverages

If your business is involved in commercial transport, owns or uses either a single vehicle or an entire fleet of vehicles, then Commercial Automobile coverage may be one of the most important investments you make.

This policy can provide a combination of liability protection for damages you cause plus physical damage coverage for damage to vehicles owned, maintained, or used by your business. Additional coverages can be purchased to tailor the policy to fit your unique business needs.

Hired/Non-Owned Auto

If you or your employees ever drive vehicles that are not owned by your business for business purposes, then you likely need non-owned and hired automobile coverage. This policy provides coverage options for you and an employee driving a rented, hired, borrowed, or personal vehicle for company business

Provides coverage options to help protect a business against claims arising with business ownership, maintenance, use of the property/grounds, property damage, services/products sold, and more. BOP coverage should be considered by small businesses as an option for a financial layer of protection to business related claim costs arising in judgments, attorney fees, court costs, or other related expenses.

This insurance is used to protect against claims arising from failure to protect private or confidential information of customers, prevent the transmission of computer viruses to customers, and the failure to provide access to authorized users.

Employment Practices Liability Insurance (EPLI) provides coverage options for liability arising out of claims for injury to an employee because of an employment-related offense, such as wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment (including sexual), or other specified employee related exposures. The policy may cover the cost of defense. Third Party Liability coverage options are also available for non-employees.

Professional liability insurance, often called errors and omissions, is built to protect anyone who is providing a service.

During the course of your services, you may make a mistake or fail to reach an acceptable standard with your final product. This can lead to a financial loss for your client or cause harm that can lead to a lawsuit. Professional liability can cover the defense costs associated with the proceedings as well as the cost to resolve the issue.

This coverage is designed to protect professionals (e.g., accountants, attorneys) and quasi-professionals (e.g., real estate brokers, consultants) against liability incurred as a result of errors and omissions in performing their professional services. Although there are a few exceptions (e.g., physicians, architects, and engineers), most professional liability policies only cover economic or financial losses suffered by third parties, as opposed to bodily injury (BI) and property damage (PD) claims.

For instance, if a photographer accidentally destroys the photos taken at a wedding before they are given to the client, the client may sue for not receiving what they had been promised. Professional liability may cover this type of claim.

Provides coverage options for automobile dealers, garages, service stations, or auto accessory businesses for their premises liability, products, and completed operations exposures. Businesses that provide valet service, towing companies, and auto mechanics should consider this coverage.

Are you adequately covered to provide protection you need in the event of a liability loss? Losses could be well into the millions of dollars depending on the type of damage the injured party sustains. Umbrella coverage typically begins where your underlying coverage stops.

Provides coverage options to protect small businesses from the expenses related to an employee’s medical costs and lost wages following a workplace injury or illness. Without the added protection of a WC policy to your company’s risk management profile, the medical expenses in one employee claim could cause unrepairable financial losses.
