Coverages

This insurance is used to protect against claims arising from failure to protect private or confidential information of customers, prevent the transmission of computer viruses to customers, and the failure to provide access to authorized users.

Directors & Officers insurance provides protection and legal defense of directors, officers and certain other individuals associated with an organization that may be found legally liable for damages resulting from work related activities. Though most commonly used for publicly held companies and non-profit boards of directors, this coverage is also important for many private firms. This insurance warrants careful consideration by every private or public board of directors.

Employment Practices Liability Insurance (EPLI) provides coverage from liability arising out of claims for injury to an employee because of an employment-related offense, such as wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment (including sexual) , or other specified employee related exposures. The policy includes coverage for the cost of defense. Third Party Liability coverage is also available for non-employees.

This policy covers business liability arising out of a pollution incident, meaning the emission of pollutants into or on land, the atmosphere, or water and causing environmental damage. The broader form of coverage also provides liability for clean-up costs. These policies are generally available on a claims-made basis.

This coverage protects trustees, employers, fiduciaries, professional administrators, and the employee benefit plans for errors and omissions.

Firms that have exposures outside the U.S., its territories and Canada, may need an International Liability policy to insure the firm from suits brought against them in foreign countries. Typical General Liability policies insure the operations of the insured worldwide, but only for suits brought within the United States.

This coverage protects your business from claims arising from alleged bodily injury, personal injury (false arrest, detention or imprisonment, malicious prosecution, wrongful eviction, slander, libel, and invasion of privacy) or property damage liability. It may include protection for services you render or products you sell. Coverage payments can include judgments, attorney fees, court costs, or other related expenses.

Provides liability coverage for businesses involved in manufacturing, distributing, selling or serving liquor.

This coverage is used to insure against claims arising out of your ownership, maintenance or use of premises, including any operations that are in progress.

This coverage is used to insure against claims arising out of bodily injury and property damage that result from products you have sold, manufactured, handled, distributed or disposed of; or for work you have performed, provided the accident occurs away from the premises that you own or rent.

This coverage is designed to protect professionals (e.g., accountants, attorneys) and quasi-professionals (e.g., real estate brokers, consultants) against liability incurred as a result of errors and omissions in performing their professional services. Although there are a few exceptions (e.g., physicians, architects, and engineers), most professional liability policies only cover economic or financial losses suffered by third parties, as opposed to bodily injury (BI) and property damage (PD) claims.
